We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2023, at the age of 83, Carl Wayne Rhodes of Crowell, Texas, born in Bryan, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Rhodes and Lillie Belle Rhodes; his mother-in-law Josephine Fritz; his brother Raymond Rhodes; and his grandsons, Matthew and Andrew Mowat.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rhodes of Crowell, Texas; his children, Judy Malone (Stacy), Debbie Collins (Mike) of Saltillo, Frances Mowat (Al) of Pickton, Texas and Ken Rhodes (Laura) of Crowell, Texas; and his siblings, Gene (Punk), John of Kerrville, Texas, Aline Keith of Kerrville and Mary Wilton of Conroe, Texas.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be made to Bethel Church, Rathgeber House, or the Crowell Fire Department.
