He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar G. Whitley and Minnie Frances Whitley (Clifton); his wife Jewell Arnn; and his siblings, Doyle, W. T., Gaylon, Louise and Bobbie.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Whitley (Kathy) of Crowell, Billy Royce Whitley (Diane) of Round Rock and Brenda Turner (Tom) of Cedar Park; and his brothers, J. W. Whitley and Roy M. "Ace" Whitley of Crowell. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
