He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Harold Peterson and Esther Nelson Peterson; and his sister Barbara Ann Copes. He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Peterson of Plainview, TX, Ellen Beck (Alan) of Crosby, TX and Karen Nott of Santa Fe, NM.; his grandchildren, Erin McMinn (Curtis) of Humble, TX, Philip Beck (Danielle) of Kaysville, UT and David Beck of Crosby; his great grandchildren, Kinley McMinn, Axton McMinn, Laikyn McMinn, Dalton Carter, RiLynn Beck and Emma Beck; and his siblings-in-law, Bill, Shirley Hopper of Tyler, TX, Linda and E. J. "Punchy" Riley of Leakey, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
