He is survived by: his mother Jannine Elizabeth McConnon; his sister Jannine Esther Ledvina (Jeffrey Ledvina); his stepsister Missy Jarreau; his nieces, Jessica TenBrook (James TenBrook) and Jacqui Alloway (Steven Alloway); his nephew Brennon Jarreau; and his great-nephews, Riley Theriot and Hayden TenBrook.

In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe account was setup to help with the cost of Walter's burial.
