He was predeceased by: his father William L. Loftin Sr. (Buck); his sister Kathy Wright; and his mother-in-law Lillian Castleberry. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Anne Loftin (Prestriedge); his wife Dana; his sons, Steven Loftin (Shana) and Clint Loftin; his siblings, Bill (April), Marshall (Janis) and Jane Barber (Dave); and his brother-in-law Stan Wright. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and countless lifelong friends.
