Stanley Brown Slayton Obituary

Stanley Brown Slayton, 73, of Crosby, Texas passed away on August 12, 2022. He was born on January 19, 1949 in Salinas, California to Archie and Virginia Cude Slayton. Stanley was a Christian. He was a retired long haul truck driver of 35 plus years. He loved his friends from Crosby, Texas and his dogs and cats.

Survivors include; two sisters: Betty Mross of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Nancy Sharp of Imboden, Arkansas; one nephew: Jeffrey Mross (Holleah); three nieces: Peggy Sharp (Jim Bollinger), Maddi Mross (Cody Tubbs), Lexsi Mross; two great nieces: Addison Bollinger and Alanyce Tubbs; and a host of other family and friends from Arkansas and Texas.

Stanley is preceded in death by; his parents: Archie and Virginia Cude Slayton; and one brother-in-law: Buck Sharp.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the Old Union Cemetery in Birdell, Arkansas.
