He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nhi Trong Nguyen and Tuyet Thi Nguyen; his wife Sara Nguyen; his children, Samantha Nguyen, Michelle Picciotti and Jimmie Gowton (Erin); his grandchildren, Tyler Gowton and Amanda LeBlanc; his siblings, Chau Bich Nguyen (Al), Khiem Duy Nguyen (Carmen) and Le Quyen Thi Nguyen; and his nieces and nephews, Gus Pendergrass, Dustin, Ryan Nguyen, Reece Worthy, Emma Nguyen and Madison Worthy. He was also cherished by numerous other relatives and many friends.
