He is survived by: his wife Betty Loup Spurlock; his children, Jeffery Spurlock (Shannan), Todd Spurlock, Courtney Dolgow (Mike) and Jason Loup (Mary); his grandchildren, Jakob Spurlock, Stormi Spurlock, Siera Delgado, Tyler Spurlock, Kylie Spurlock, Jordan Dolgow, Logan Dolgow, Cannon Wadley, Dalton Wadley, Christian Loup and Averie Loup; his great grandchildren, Holland Thompson, Bentlee Spurlock and Zayne Spurlock; and his sisters, Joan Gay (Allen) and Lucille Balch (Al). He is also survived by extended family and friends.

“We are truly sorry for your loss as well as ours and anyone else he ever touched.. Harold was always fun to be around. I'm sure he had his sad times but I never saw them.We have known him since we were teenagers working at the Houston Zoo.He was always a hard worker but always in a jolly mood. Glad to have known him. Al and Lucille Balch”
