He is survived by: his close friend Blanca Nubia Hidalgo Gutierrez; his mother Faye Winsett Bird; his brother David Bird (Jana); his daughter-in-law Jaime Bird; his grandchildren, Payton Bird and Parker Owen Bird; and his niece Heather "Nicole" Fogarty. He is also survived by numerous other relatives, and friends.
