It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freddie Lee Mitchell of Crosby, Texas, born in Daisetta, Texas, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Johnnie Mitchell; his son Freddie Lee, Jr. (Mitze Mitchell) of Crosby; his parent Nettie Hemingway LaBove; his stepfather Loston LaBove; and his siblings, Maggie Lee Wolfford, George Wolfford, Billie Mitchell, Carl Wolfford and Lois Wolfford Marks.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie (Robert Warnke) of Crosby; and his grandchildren, Freddie Ewen, Wayne (Denise Warnke) of Crosby, Wendy (Daniel Sarmasag) of Houston, April (Paul Juarez) of Anahuac, Tina and Brooke Stiefel of Crosby. He is also survived by 11 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great-Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
