He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Allen; his children, Tammy Johnson (Dwayne), Nancy Hayes (Marty), Cynthia Hayes and Ricky Slaughter (Linda); his son-in-law Steve Fletcher; his grandchildren, Darrel Hayes (April), Michael Hayes, Eric Hayes (Elizabeth), Shelby Fletcher, Glenna Hayes, Katelynne Fletcher, Phillip Hayes (Hanan), Bradley Hayes (Denise) and Brandon Fletcher; his great grandchildren, Eric Hayes Jr., Elijah Hayes, Ethan Hayes, Malachi Hayes, Carson Lewis, Raelynn Halt, Delilah Sharp and Jáázaniah Hayes; and his brother Lonnie Slaughter (Cyndy). He is also survived by extended family and friends.
