He is survived by: his wife Lela Turpin of Texas; his children, Donald "Gene" E. Turpin, Jr. (Vickie), Daniel E. Turpin (Gloria), Teri S. Egly, Denise A. Turpin (Donald Finkelstein) and Gary L. Turpin (Dawn); and his stepson Dirk Lengacher. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
