He is survived by: his wife Dianne Newbury of Crosby, TX; his children, Kimberly (Kenneth Burkhead) of Vidor, TX, Steven Newbury (Staci) of Crosby, TX and Michael Newbury (Erin) of Claremore, OK.; his sister Darlene Bohacek of Midland, TX; and his grandchildren, Mason Burkhead, Dallas Burkhead, Kynlie Burkhead, Marjorie Burkhead (Madison), Caleb Newbury, Caden Newbury, Peyton Newbury, Ashley Morris and Jerry Newbury. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Harvest Time Church of God (495 S Diamondhead Blvd, Crosby, TX 77532-5570). A burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sterling-White Cemetery (11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd, Highlands, TX 77562).
