It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Gruver of Crosby, Texas, born in Gilmer, Texas, who passed away on July 17, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, E. A. Gruver and Bertha Bittle Gruver; and his brother Lonnie Gruver. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Deann Walker Gruver; his children, Lee Allen Gruver (Marcia), Lonny Dale Gruver (Andrea), Rebecca Faye Catlin (Steve) and Lorie Lou Simpson (Timothy); and his siblings, Velda Nickles (Fred), Jimmie Lou Powe (Roger) and Lee Gruver (Linda). He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Due to the current situation with COVID-19, attendance at the visitation and service will be limited to 75 or fewer guests.
