It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Davis Bass of Crosby, Texas, born in Hemphill, Texas, who passed away on December 17, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Bass and Christin Hogan Bass; his wife Lynda Ilene Bass; his son David Wade Bass; and his grandson Anthony Kyle Bass.
He is survived by: his daughters, Loretta Lynn Alexander and Angela Sheree Hampton (Randall); his siblings, Curtis Bass, Stevie Bass, Jerry Ann, Dorothy, Diane, Mary Louise and Debra; his grandchildren, Bryan Bass, Jared Walsingham, Christopher Bass, Matthew Bass, Kalon Gill, Shelby Gill, Joshua Alexander, Shalissa Bass, Hannah Alexander and Hailey Alexander; and his great grandchildren, Anthony, Angelina, Natalie, Zoey and Kayden. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
