He was predeceased by: his brother Thomas Jones Jr.; and his parents, Pauline Ward and Thomas W. Jones Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Kay Jones; his sons, Ken Jones (Christine) of Crosby, Gary Jones (Paula) of El Paso and Bill Jones II (Kathy) of Crosby; and his sister Betty Ford (Guy Ford) of Deer Park. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
