He was predeceased by: his parents, David Clinton and Evie Elizabeth Cook; and his siblings, David, Gordon, Leroy, Donald, Coleman, Pete, Glen, Charlie, Virgil and Diamond Cook Kornegay.
He is survived by: his daughter Deborah; his wife Patricia of Richmond; his daughter Debbi; his son-in-law Carl Vavra of Brenham; his granddaughter Chloe Elizabeth Vavra; and his sister Susie Wall of Lufkin. He is also survived by family members and friends.
