We bid farewell to Wadell Harrison Calhoun of Crockett, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 24, 2025 at the age of 98. Wadell Harrison touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wade Jennings and Mona Ruth Moffitt Jennings; her husbands, Grant Harrison and Garland Calhoun; her daughter Sharon Rosales; her son-in-law Michael Carlo Miller; and her brothers, Jasper Jennings and Dewitt Jennings.
She is survived by: her daughter Doris Miller of Georgetown; her son-in-law Mario Rosales of Kennard; her grandchildren, Christopher, Minnette (Manuel), Lindsey (Jentry) and John; and her great grandchildren, Karsyn, Gabriel, Lyra, Wade and Sadie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home (700 E Houston Ave, Crockett, TX 75835). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kennard First Baptist Church.
