He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington Gail and Lillie Belle Starling Gail; and his siblings, Georgie Belle Collier, Ola Mae Wilson, Johnny Gail Sr., Mamie Lee Goshorn, George Marvin Gail and Frank Adolph Gail.
He is survived by: his son Todd David Gail of Sweeny; and his sister Christine Evelyn Caulley of Nacogdoches. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
