With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orlan Bitner Sr. (Crockett, Texas), who passed away on January 6, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Bitner and Ola Mae Bitner; his wife Beth Bitner; and his siblings, Ray Bitner and Dorothy Brasher.
He is survived by: his close friend Larry Shupak; his children, Orlan Bitner, Jr. (Jan), Janet Bitner, Judy Barron (Kevin) and Joe Bitner (Michelle); his grandsons, Jonathan Wood, Jordan Wood, Austin Bitner, Jameson Barron (Jordyn) and Kyle Bitner; his sisters, Mary Wiggins and Jean Brasher; and his friends, Barbara Shupak, Jerry Krenek, Lainnie and Bob Gouldie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shiloh Methodist Church c/o First United Methodist Church, 701 E Goliad Ave, Crockett, TX 75835.
