With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lou Cook of Crockett, Texas, born in Kennard, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cash Elar Hammons and Suzy Anna Cartwright Hammons; her husband Bugger Cook; her daughter Cindy Coon; her great grandchild Macie Dunbar; her siblings, Jenette Helton (Wilmer Neel), Mozell Morgan (Alvin), JC Hammons (Jean) and Ragin Hammons; and her sister-in-law Lola Mae Hammons.
She is survived by: her children, Lesia Riggins (Tim) of Marquez, Gail Cook of Crockett, Scott Cook of Crockett and Kayla Cook of Crockett; her grandchildren, Alesha, Bubba, Sarah, Misty, Buddy, Heather and Loyd; her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Alyssa, Paige, Hallie, Cagyn, Casyn, Chaselynn, Peyton and Mickey; and her brothers, Thelbert Hammons of New Caney, Bill (Gayle Hammons) and George (Nelda Hammons). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
