He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Milsaps and Corrine Milsaps; and his daughters, Laurie and Loretta. He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas, William, Monroe "Buddy", Roy of Lois, E. J., Corinne "Sissie", Robert "Bobby", Nettie and Carol; his wife Betty Slaughter; his children, Cathleen "Kate" and Leonard "Butch"; and his grandchildren, Paula, Cristy, Neil, Rebekah and Laura. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
