He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Meyer and Grace Meyer; his wife Patricia Marie Webb Meyer; his parents-in-law, Col. E. L. and Frances Webb; his brother Kenton; his sister-in-law Marian Meyer; his sister Joan; his brother-in-law Paul Gore; his nephew Jon Meyer; and his niece Amy Watson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Butler Meyer Patterson (Merlin) and Sally Grant Meyer Brannen (John Michael) of Crockett, TX; his grandsons, William Michael Brannen of El Indio, TX and Grant Michael Brannen (Lee Ellen) of Alto, TX; his siblings-in-law, Nancy, Danny Watson, Judi Blackwell and Bill Swink; and his nieces and nephews, Phillip Meyer, Cyndi Michaels, Gloria, Doug Reed, Scott Gore, Angela Watson Grippe, Jennifer Blackwell, Holly Blackwell, Chris Meyer, Jill Meyer Reisinger and Simon Blackwell.
