With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria Stella Quintero Wilber (Crockett, Texas), born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on March 22, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Sam Quintero; her sister Elma Maria Quintero; her grandfather Apa; her mother Carlotta Pecina Quintero (Mike Wilber); and her siblings, Alfonso "Buddy" Quintero, Sam Quintero and Olga Marin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kat Mims of Houston and Kim Mims-Spellman (Chuck); her grandson Wade Elkins (Kathy); her great grandchildren, Marley, Ellie and Kimberlynn Lady May Elkins; her stepgrandchildren, Richard, Megan and Steven Spellman; and her sisters, Virginia Gonzalez and Delia Villarreal. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Even as she battled Alzheimer's, she always felt safe and secure in their presence.
