He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Hester; his daughter Deborah Hester; and his siblings, Norris, Mildred, Laverne and Daisy.
He is survived by: his parents, Earl Hester, Sr. and Hallie Hallmark Hester; his son Mike Hester (Cindy) of Jersey Village; his grandchildren, Kelly McMichael (Curtis) of Tomball and Amy Martinez (Chuck) of Katy; and his great grandchildren, Paige, Carly, Elijah, Canaan and Connor. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
