It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Jane Gibson of Crockett, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Carol Gibson; her husbands, J. R. Gibson and John Barnett; and her brother Terry Kissnick. She is survived by: her children, Bubba Gibson of Crockett, Theresa Gibson of Crockett, Cheryl Gibson of Crockett, Jackie and Juan Perez of Crockett; her grandchildren, Denise, Deborah, Emerald, Chris, David, Nikki, Junior, Kicko, Kayla, Michael, Peanut, Becky and Vanessa; and her sisters, Barbara Boyd, Donna Kissnick, Judy Cross and Nancy Whitchurch. She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made towards Darlene's funeral expenses to Callaway-Allee Funeral Home.
