He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Lee Burris Musick of Crockett; his daughters, Amber Musick Cato (John) of Palestine and Megan Musick (Reese Hammock) of Palestine; his grandchildren, Heath Cato of Palestine, Maggie Cato of Palestine, Nykky Cato of Palestine, Brianna Cato of Palestine and Annie Cato of Palestine; his sisters, Brenda Burson (Cater) of Crockett and Sherrie Catoe (John) of Crockett; and his aunt Betty Arnold Turner of Grapeland. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
