She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence English Bartee and Lacy Bartee; her husband James "Barnie" Carroll; her great grandchild Jimmy Randall Boles; her son-in-law David Lowman; her nieces, Sheri Bartee Staton and Renee Bartee Tedesco; and her cousin Jackie Bartee.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gaye Boles Childress, Joy Lowman and Tami Roberts; her grandchildren, Renee Brandon (Gary), Alicia "Lisa" Boles Fry (Tad), Buster Boles (Stephanie), Tiffany Lenz (Ray), Jonathon Lowman and Kelley Blasco; her siblings, Ruby Specek (Stan), Bonnie McMurray Blackmore, Vernon Bartee (Martha) and Larry Bartee (Betty); and her nieces and nephews, Mike Dorsey (Pattie), Jeff McMurrey (Tracey), Steve Bartee (Kate), Susan Dorsey Daniels, Jill McMurrey, Gina McMurrey Grossman, Kim Bartee (Marty Fleckman), Kelley Bartee Dees and Michelle Bartee (Trevor Brock). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Callaway-Allee Funeral Home (700 E Houston Ave, Crockett, TX 75835).
