He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie "Dock" Allen and Mary Elizabeth Smothers Allen; and his brothers, Carroll, David and Charles Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Andrea Taylor of Centerville, Jason Allen (Gaylene) of Crockett and Shannon DeWalch (David) of Tyler; his grandchildren, Brandon Taylor (Reba), Jeannie Scott of Centerville, Jason Silvey (Alyson) of Ft Novosel, AL, Katy and Hunter Allen of Crockett; his great grandchildren, Kendall and Carter Taylor; and his sister Joyce Brown of Apple Valley, CA. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Andy was active with the Houston County Fair Association and the Crockett and Latexo FFA Chapters, receiving an Honorary Chapter Farmer award for his contribution to the Crockett FFA Chapter in 1988.
