Adele Junkin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adele Junkin of Crockett, Texas, who passed away on October 3, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Crawford and Opal Crawford. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Sam Junkin; her children, Susan Junkin, David Junkin (Teresa) and Tom Junkin (Jamie); her grandchildren, Sarah Hernandez (Bobby), Zachary Junkin (Leigh), Emily Junkin and Samantha Lochte (Mitchell); and her great grandchildren, Max, Evelynn (Evie), Mason, Cora, Adalee and Annie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to the teacher education program at Schreiner University, to Hopes Kitchen at First Presbyterian Church of Kerrville, to Peterson Hospice, or to any of a number of worthy interests and ministries coming to the minds and hearts of donors - especially those that help the poor, encourage a hope-filled future, and center on Jesus' call for peace and justice in the world.
