He is survived by: his wife Gayle Pate of Crawford; his sisters, Vickie Pate of Crawford and Billie Gilbert (Kenneth) of Lorena; his sons, Christopher Lee Pate (Angela) of Gatesville and David Aaron Pate of Crawford; his grandchildren, Faith, Kolton, Jameson, Julia, Destiny and Alexa; and his nephews, Andrew Gilbert and Michael Gilbert.
