He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Berryhill and Gertha Berryhill (Morrison); his wife Joyce Ruth McLuney; his son Jerry Lynn; and his granddaughter Kayla Berryhill.

He is survived by: his children, Roger (Pamela) of Gatesville, Michael (Laurel) of Gatesville, Janet Patterson (Lanny) of McGregor and Linda Elder of Austin. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; and extended family and friends.
