He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Edward and Velma Rebecca Ray (Lynch); and his former wife Dorothy Lee Merritt. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Nichols; his children, David Ray and Rebecca R. Gayle (William); his granddaughters, Kaycee Dockins (Dakota) and Sydney Seebeck (Grant); his sister Judy Ray Moser; his brother-in-law Lyndon Lynch; his niece Robyn Fisher (Duane); his nephew Scott Nichols; and his grandchildren, Casie Flowers, Cayla Bell (Mike), Kynzie and Rylee. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
