He is survived by: his wife Carla; his children, Pete Hines (Melissa), John Hines II and Tammy Barrack (Craig); his brothers, Steve Hines (Dedra) and Clyde Hines (Darlene); his grandchildren, Gavin Hines, Grayson Hines, Haley Hines, Jamie Hines and Stephen Barrack; and his uncle Bill Bird.
