He was predeceased by: his mother Doris Capps; his son J. P. Capps; and his brother Roger Capps. He is survived by: his father Wallace Capps (Carmen) of Woodway; his sister Glenda Stewart (Gerald) of Waco; his niece Cindy Lynch (Doug) of Crawford; his grandsons, Riley Capps of Asa, Colton Lynch (Livi) of Crawford and Jake Lynch (Hannah) of Crawford; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Maggie and John Lynch.
