He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavern Wright Tarpley and Leonard Tarpley; and his siblings, Lou Ann Kennedy and Ronald Tarpley. He is survived by: his son Lenwood Tarpley Jr; his grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Tarpley and Kaleb Len Tarpley; his wife Sibyl Tarpley; his daughter-in-law Lorri Tarpley; his grandchild Kaleb Tarpley; his siblings, Leon (Peggy Tarpley), Leonard (Toni Tarpley), Barbara (Walter Leach) and Pamela Tarpley; and his brother-in-law Kim (Connie Bargsley). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
