She was predeceased by: her parents, Van Lewis and Jimmy Hazel Lanning; her husband Anthony Staggs (Tony); and her siblings, Maryneil, Bendy, Eugene and Wendell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Leslie (Freddy Garcia), Kathy (Cat Ortiz), Dolly Staggs, Toni Staggs and Lisa Gutierrez (Richie) of Crane; her brothers, Tommy Lanning (Darlene) of Crane and Freddie Lanning of Crane; and her grandchildren, Brittany, Junella, Savannah, Diego, Lexi, Jayla, Belinda, Thomas, Chelsea, Micheal, Crissy, Melissa and Brandon. She is also survived by 25 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home (1503 Andrews Hwy, Crane, TX 79731). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Crane County Cemetery (1505 Andrews Hwy, Crane, TX 79731).
She fought long battles with her Parkinson's and her Alzheimer's disease and all her stomach problems, we will miss her every single day but we know she is with Jesus in paradise and free of all her diseases and pain!
