We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2023, at the age of 75, Jimmie Witherspoon of Crandall, Texas, born in Hope, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Witherspoon and Billie Cartwright; his siblings, Jerry, Jackie and Karen; his son Henry Helfers Jr.; and his grandsons, Brandon and Christopher Gurley.

He is survived by: his wife Nina; his daughters, Leigh Anne (Dwayne Lewis), Paula (Clint Gurley), Sandra Houston of Scurry, TX and Machelle (Nathan Forester); and his brother Jeffrey Cartwright of Canton, TX.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren.
