It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H. Kirk of Crandall, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on May 7, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Kirk and Esther Kirk; his brother Charles Kirk (Carol); his daughter Kimberly Thomas; his grandsons, Travis, Matthew and John; and his cousin Jessie.

He is survived by: his sons, James (Shannon) and David (Tami); his wife Jean; his grandchildren, Justin Kirk (Levie), Lauren Lynch (Chris), Emily Ham (Stephen), Noah, Elijah, Adam, Elizabeth (Meg), Brittany Simons (Jurgen), Kelly Thomas and Ernest Thomas II; and his great grandchildren, Travis, Hannah, Reese, Zahara, Ryan, Declan, Lillian, River, Avery and Blair.
