She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Dodson; and her daughter Gwen Thompson. She is survived by: her grandchildren, William Garrison (Amy), James Garrison (Penny), Leslie Garrison (Tracey), Tyler Harrison, Nicole Wassum (Kenneth) and Courtney; her children, Justin and Rebeca; her grandchild Hunter; her great grandchild Parker; and her grandchildren, Austin, Savannah, Isabella, Ayden, Liliana, Kimber and Kasen.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Charles W. Smith & Sons (601 S Tennessee St, McKinney, TX 75069). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fitzhigh Cemetery Country Club (2540 Country Club Rd, Lucas, TX 75002).
