He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Smith and Lorraine Logston Smith. He is survived by: his wife Joann Smith (Worell); his daughter Jean Tatum (Kevin); his sisters, Cyndi Colburn (Max) and Sali Cuvillier; his grandchildren, Brittany Starnes (Blake), Brianna Green and Don Teel; and his great grandchildren, Cullen Starnes and Haelyn Teel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
