With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanna E. Shannon (Coupland, Texas), born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on August 7, 2019 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joanna E. Shannon to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Joseph and Elizabeth Carto (Parcells); and her siblings, Gail and Larry. She is survived by: her children, Carl Reidsema of Melburne, Cristine Hess (Robert) of Pendleton, Cindy Simpson (Logan) of Coupland and Jerry Reidsema (Brittany) of St. Charles, Illinois. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
