It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Schmidt (Coupland, Texas), who passed away on March 7, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Schmidt and Mathilda Schmidt (Tesmer); and his sister Arlene Kruse (Paul). He is survived by: his grandsons, Duck Football and Duck Baseball; his significant other Lois Schmidt; his daughter Carrie (Michael); his grandsons, Wyatt Jay (Katelyn) and Jake M. J. Townsend; and his nieces and nephews, Pam David (Mike), Cindy Tomei (Joe), Mark Kruse (Ramona) and Brian Kruse (Shannon). He is also survived by several great nephews and great nieces; sister.
