He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Edgar and Mable Hargraves (Johnston); his former wife Sharon Hargraves; his brother Lloyd Hargraves; and his nephew Jerry Hargraves, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Hargraves (Williams) of Corsicana; his children, Julie Courtney (Alford) of Huntsville and Dewey Wayne Hargraves, Jr. of Hutto; his brothers, Darrell Hargraves (Kathy) of Louisiana and Jerry Hargraves, Sr. (Angel) of Atoka, Oklahoma; his stepson Randy Porter (Kathie) of Corsicana; his stepgrandsons, Mathew Porter (Ashley) of Barry and Cory Porter of Corsicana; and his great grandchildren, Sadie Grace Porter and Maddison Faith Porter.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trinity Assembly of God (109 FM 2452, Corsicana, TX 75110). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at the Oakwood Cemetery.
