He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion "Mickey" Wilkinson and Katherine Wilkinson; his grandparents, Elder, Ruby Wilkinson, Edward and Gladys Borlace; his brothers, Pat Wilkinson and David Wilkinson Sr.; and his uncle Chipper Borlace.
He is survived by: his wife Sanda Wilkinson; his sister Donna Jean Divins; his sons, Virgil Wayne Wilkinson Jr. (Nancy Wilkinson) and Darrell Wilkinson (Anja Wilkinson); his grandchildren, Jennifer Huffman (Billy Huffman), Megan Wilkinson, Justin Wilkinson (Paige), Cory Wilkinson (Nancy Corona), Cody Sherrard (Holly Sherrard), Zachary Wilkinson (Maria Wilkinson), Jarod Wilkinson and Lauren Diggs (Dylan Diggs); and his great grandchildren, Mason Huffman, Jaxon Huffman, Jaylea Huffman, Jaydin Huffman, Kenadee Sherrard, Everett Sherrard, Shooter Diggs, Alyssa Diggs, Case Diggs, Jordyn Wilkinson, Isabella Wilkinson, Amelia Wilkinson, Weslyn Wilkinson, Brooklyn Wilkinson, Emberlynn Itchue and McKinlynn Itchue. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home (1530 N 45th St, Corsicana, TX 75110). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
