As we bid Soledad farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Soledad is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her grandfather Ignacio Bermejo. She is survived by: her parents, Julio Ortiz and Maria Guadalupe Ortiz; her siblings, Julio Ortiz and Alejandra Ortiz; and her grandmother Maria Padilla. She is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home (1530 N 45th St, Corsicana, TX 75110). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (3000 West Highway 22, Corsicana, TX 75110).
