He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward R Shadix and Eunie Lucile Shadix (Nichols); his sons, Steven Lynn and Richard Junior Jr. of Corsicana; his wife Annie; his daughter-in-law Penny R Shadix; his granddaughter Tiffany Ann Trollinger; and his siblings, Edward Lee, Juanita Elizabeth, Buford Armon, Carl Arnold, Jo Ann Holloway Jones, Charles Franklin, Shirley Faye Rutz, Raymond Earl and Nayoma Joyce McQueary.
He is survived by: his son Ronald Gene of Woodway; his granddaughters, Heather McCullough (David), Ashley Shadix and Brooke Shadix; his grandson-in-law Taylor Trollinger; and his great grandchildren, Yuri Ganas, Mikyle Ganas and Trevor Trollinger.
