Nancy Sue Sherrard Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2025, at the age of 82, Nancy Sue Sherrard of Corsicana, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Jergins and Mary Womack; her stepfather Dan Womack; her husband Roland L Sherrard, Jr.; her sister Donna Atkessison; and her children, Kevin Sherrard (Stacy) of Corsicana and Stacey Sanchez (Danny) of Corsicana.
She is survived by: her brothers, William "Rusty" Womack (Linda) of Wisconsin and Cody; her sister-in-law Harriett Sherrard of Corsicana; her grandchildren, Brandon Burkett of New York, Jennifer Huffman (Billy) of Corsicana, Justin Wilkinson (Paige) of Streetman, Pierce Burkett of San Antonio, Cody Sherrard (Holly) of Corsicana, Deven Burkett of Dallas, Lauren Diggs (Dylan) of Corsicana and Brianna Sanchez of White Rock; and her great grandchildren, Mason Huffman, Jaxon Huffman, Jaylea Huffman, Jaydin Huffman, Kenadee Sherrard, Everett Sherrard, Shooter Diggs, Alyssa Diggs, Case Diggs, Weslyn Wilkinson, Brooklyn Wilkinson, Emberlynn Itchue, McKinlynn Itchue, Adelyn Burkett and Ila Burkett. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home (1530 N 45th St, Corsicana, TX 75110). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lone Star Cowboy Church of Navarro County (4495 TX-22, Corsicana, TX 75110).
