He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howell and Beatrice Ross Howell; his sisters, Betty Hicks and Mary Paul; and his daughters, Trudy Howell and Kathy Hitt.
He is survived by: his wife Millie Howell; his daughter Cynthia Burch; his grandchildren, Jeff Peterson, Kenny Burch and Jennifer Dillon; his great-grand adults, Jeffrey Tremain, Jeryl Peterson and Zachrey Peterson; and his siblings, Jimmy Howell, Raymond Howell, Barbara Murphy and Linda Wear. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
