Karyn Katz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karyn Katz (Corsicana, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burney Bobkoff and Eileen Bobkoff. She is survived by: her husband Steve; her children, Elizabeth Kutz (Aaron) and Eric Katz (Shainy); her grandchildren, Pia, Noah, Aryeh Leib of Jack, ZC and Binyomin Meir; and her sister Lauri Odness (Brian).
A graveside service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hebrew Cemetery (2100 W 2nd Ave, Corsicana, TX 75110). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Temple Israel (91 Springside Dr, Akron, OH 44333). A shiva was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Access Women's Shelter, the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
